ABOUT THE EVENT
Mark your calendars for the 5th edition of International Women’s Day Breda on 11 March 2025!
This year, we gather in a broader and more impactful way as local organizations join forces to celebrate and work towards a more inclusive city. Breda Internationals, Gemeente Breda and Aithra have welcomed new team members of female-driven clubs such as VVAO, Els Borst Netwerk, International Women’s Club Breda and Soroptimisten Club Breda.
This year, International Women’s Day will be celebrated on 11 March, following the Carnival break, to provide an opportunity for greater participation and more meaningful connections.
The global theme for 2025 is #AccelerateAction, urging us to drive forward gender equity, to amplify women’s voices, and to create real change—together.
This year’s keynote will be delivered by Esther Goos, CEO of Scooperz agency and a global marketing innovator. In her talk, “How We Can Make More Impact,” Esther will share actionable insights on building a standout personal brand and using social media to drive meaningful change. With her entrepreneurial journey as inspiration, she’ll show us how to turn ideas into action and amplify our influence.

Gauri is a Rotterdam-based artist and performer. She likes to write portraits that she brings to life with her lyrical rhymes. She is a storyteller who romanticizes life without avoiding the harsh reality. Her poetry is therefore a reflection of her community, both inspiring and confrontational.
Nina Katharina is a classically trained harpist. She works from a practice of collaboration, expanding the sound of her instrument beyond the confines of the expected. Since 2024 she frequently performs together with Gauri, which transformed her practice from the purely musical to the lyrical.
Sign up today for an evening that promises to inspire, challenge and stimulate. Basically free – a small contribution of 8€, but in return you get 2 drinks for free.
