Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, has been fighting against the mass displacement of his community by Israeli authorities since his youth. He documents the destruction of villages in his region, where Israeli soldiers gradually demolish homes and force residents to flee. At one point, he meets Yuval, an Israeli journalist, and an unlikely friendship develops between them. While Yuval supports Basel in his efforts, their bond is put under strain by the enormous inequality: Basel lives under military occupation, while Yuval lives freely and without restrictions.

No Other Land is created by a Palestinian-Israeli collective consisting of Basel Adra, Yuval Abraham, Hamdan Ballal, and Rachel Szor. It serves as an act of creative resistance, striving for justice in the ongoing conflict. The documentary had its world premiere earlier this year at the Berlin Film Festival, where it won two awards. It has since been shown at various international festivals and has received numerous prizes.
