LEARNING DUTCH

Although many Dutch people speak English, we recommend learning Dutch. It will help in your daily life, especially if you plan to live in the Netherlands for a long time – from doing your grocery shopping (boodschappen) to participating in team sports, speaking and understanding Dutch will make your daily life easier and less stressful, and Dutch people will appreciate your effort!

For information about language lessons in Breda, you can get a free consultation at the inloopspreekuur (walk-in consultation hour) by Digi-Taalhuis Breda at the Nieuwe Veste (library in Breda). They are available every Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:00, no appointment needed. If you can’t attend the consultation hour during the week, send an email with your learning goal and availability, and Digi-Taalhuis will advise you by email.
