When the Moroccan-Dutch Karim is caught by his father, he rushes to his parental home to start the conversation about his sexuality. But how do you discuss the elephant in the room within a family that by definition avoids sensitive topics? Especially with a meddling neighbor who is always buzzing around the house at the wrong time. The difficult days that follow bring back beautiful and poignant memories. Karim realizes he must confront his family to finally break the deafening silence. But can he expect acceptance from his family if he has never come to terms with his own feelings?

We screen El Houb in the courtyard of BO Diversity, an organization that is committed to creating awareness about prejudices, stereotypes and taboos since 2017. This screening contains English subs.
